Tired of flashing ROMs? Perhaps you want to get “all” of the features of different custom ROMs by flashing one ROM?

Well, try PACMan ROM, which is exactly that. A mix of latest CM10.1, AOKP, and ParanoidAndroid ROMs, the PACMan brings you all of CyanogenMod, ROM Control, and ParanoidAndroid Hybrid settings all in one!

I’ve been running/testing this ROM for the past week or so and it’s very solid, great battery life, and performance. If this is something along the lines of what you are looking for, try it this week and let me know how you like it!

So I did a complete CLEAN flash of this ROM, came from CM 10.1.0 but for some reason I keep getting the same error message “Unfortunatley, the process android.process.acore has stopped every 3 seconds and it will not go away. Does anyone have any ideas, if not I’ll have to flash back to the perfectly working CM 10.1.0. Please help, seems like a cool ROM but I can’t even use it.

Hey everyone just wanted to provide an update to my last post because this site is SORELY missing some useful comments. So anyways I figured out my issue, just had to do a re-flash of the ROM and completely wipe everything and it flased like a CHAMP! Coming from CM 10.1.0 this PacMan ROm is freaking amazing! It really does have every customization you can think of and more and I LOVE the Paranoid Android additions where you can switch easily between phone, phablet and tablet mode…very cool. Battery life seems about normal; I work at a desk all day so I can have my phone charging all day without being it being a bother but I did try going a full day without hookin up to a charger and with medium to heavy use it lasted from 7am until after 6pm without needing some juice. Let’s see what else…everything is extremely smooth..even smoother than stock and CM 10.1.0 in my opinion and I love how you can change the color of the icons in the navigation bar (the touch Back, Home and Recent Apps buttons at the bottom of our screen). Overall a great ROM…haven’t seen anything out there that can beat PacMan so haven;t tried anything else yet. let me know if you have any specific questions I can answer and I’ll fill ya in.

I flashed PACman and it is awesome. It runs smooth and is a solid ROM. I love the Pie menu buttons it adds so much real estate to my Nexus 4. Great Rom!

  9. Eric says:

Can I flash from Stockrom 4.3?
I was comfortable using stock but now is the time to change!

    • davey0728 says:

Of course you can flash from stock but ONLY if you’re device is ROOT’d already. If not and you’re just running the stock OS then you need to unlock your bootloader and get rooted before you can flash ANY ROMS but trust me this PacMan ROM blows stock 4.3 outta the WATER!

I flashed this ROM first about 3 months ago, after a month it started to glitch and eventually completely broke down. I tried again with a ROM dowloaded from the official website just over a month ago, and same thing, started glithing, i.e couldnt change clock time, new messages would show before previous messages (over two days old, so it wasnt just beause the clock was wrong, although i guess there is a chance the date had changed too) Tried just rebooting it, and got stuck in a loop. Anybody else notice this? Wondering if this is a problem with the rom itself
