If you are looking for a good, stable ROM with lots of features on a rooted Nexus 4, definitely one of my favorites is the Xylon ROM.
Based on the latest Android 4.2.2, the Xylon ROM comes many similar features found on AOKP that allow you to customize your UI, navigation controls, PIE, and more.
What’s different from AOKP you ask?
Well, you can pretty much do everything AOKP can do plus a bit more. I am not saying AOKP is better than Xylon in anyway, they are just “more choices” for the end user, you.
All custom ROM may have certain advantages such as longer battery life, better performance, or even just more compatibility to run certain apps better. You will not know which one is exactly best for you until you try them all out. (Yes, the “best ROM” may differ for every person depending on how he/she uses the phone.)
With that said, Xylon ROM is certainly one of the best ROMs out there, one of the few developers I trust at least. So, if you are trying new ROMs this week, definitely give the Xylon ROM a test drive and let me know what you think!
Lastly but not least, don’t run stock ROMs, you will be missing out on all the goodness of owning a Nexu 4, thanks.
Also, you can add better PIE controls using LMT Launcher if you want to add app shortcuts.

To install, reboot into recovery, make a backup ROM, then install ROM, install Gapps, and reboot. No data wipe/factory reset necessary but please make a backup ROM as there are times things can go wrong, duh!
